I'm so drawn to foxgloves.  They have featured a few times in my fairy paintings due to the folklore and legends that surround them.  One of my favourite myths is that the dark markings that form on the lower lip of the flowers mean that they have been touched by fairies.  If you look really closely you can see those little marks are actually fairy handprints
